Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Fighter from Thailand, as well as mixed martial arts artist, currently competing at flyweight of the UFC. Shevchenko is the older sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion and co- UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the promotion in 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's prodigious strike abilities allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the body. In the aftermath of this win Antonina was able to sign the opportunity to sign a UFC contract. Antonina was offered a UFC contract after winning. Shevchenko defeated Kim via unanimous decision but lost her subsequent fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina recovered from her loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the evening bonus for the bout. Shevchenko was 1-2 over the following three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, however she lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee.
