Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley is among the most popular and richest Reggae Singer who was born on February 26 1976. He was born in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a part of the legendary film Shottas opposite another singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his debut album in 1996, With Father Like Son. This was followed by a number of singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap suited (remix) as well as Sensimelia. All of these helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani and Praswell from the Fugees were joined in 1997 to create Avenue which was a cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed in Midem (international musical showcase) in the year it was held in Miami for the first time. Marley performed in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live throughout 36 nations. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bidding war. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records, where in 1997, he collaborated with P.M. D
